Mindfulness Meditation can have a significant therapeutic effect for those experiencing stress, anxiety, high blood pressure, depression, chronic pain, migraines, heart conditions, diabetes, cancer and other ailments.
An eight-week course based on the work of Jon Kabat Zin and the University of Massachusetts Medical Centre’s Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program teaching you how to handle and resolves stress.
Through participation in this course, participants learn to increase their ability to:
• Cope with stress, pain, and the challenges of everyday life
• Deal with disturbing events with grace and composure
• Be fully present, focused, alive and “in tune” with yourself in this moment
At Salamander Bay Natural Health, 271 Soldiers Pt. Rd. you have the benefit of interaction with a qualified instructor, other class members and group support. There are videos, articles for reading, discussion and meditation practices which help you build your knowledge and experience.
