About the Health, Healing and Wellbeing Workshop
During this one day workshop, you will:
- Let go of stress, relax easily, find peace of mind.
- Develop and deepen your meditation
- Clarify a healthy and healing way of eating
- Discover pathways to emotional health.
This is an interactive day for people working on their own healing, or assisting others with illness, whether as family friend or health professional.
Dr Ian Gawler will cover:
- Understanding the key elements and techniques of therapeutic meditation and active imagery.
- Differentiating between wishful thinking and positive thinking,
- How to use the power of a positive mind for healing and wellbeing.
- What constitutes healthy nutrition and how foods can be used therapeutically.
- The latest research in mind body medicine and self healing.
There will be time for questions and discussion during the workshop.
About Ian Gawler

A well known advocate of integrated health and a healthy lifestyle, Dr Ian Gawler (BVSc. M Couns.HS, OAM) is one of Australia’s most experienced and respected authorities on Mind-Body Medicine and meditation.
With a gift for translating ancient wisdom into a modern context, Dr Gawler is the author of six bestselling books on self-help techniques and has edited another seven books on Mind-Body Medicine.
The founder of the Gawler Foundation, Ian has appeared widely in the media and is sought as a presenter and speaker at conferences around the world.
A long-term cancer survivor, Dr Gawler was diagnosed with bone cancer and his right leg was amputated in 1975. However, the disease recurred later that year. Drawing upon an integrated approach, he experienced a remarkable recovery.

Mono Wholefood Cafe (Organic Feast. East Maitland) will be catering the workshop.
Organic, Gluten + Dairy Free, Vegan meals will be available for purchase.
